• We are offering two fully funded Ph.D. positions in the Department of Civil Engineering, starting in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. These positions focus on modeling heat and wind dynamics in urban environments using OpenFOAM and urban canopy models. Strong expertise in machine learning/AI is required. We are looking for highly motivated students with excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, C++) and experience with open-source modeling tools.
