A little about me

Mr. Sumit R. Zanje obtained his MS and PhD from FIU in 2021 and 2023 respectively. Sumit has completed his MEng studies specializing in Design Engineering from Birla Institute of Science & Technology (BITS Pilani) University, India after completing his undergraduate studies with the specialization in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University, India.

The topic of his MEng thesis was “Numerical modeling of flow past stationary and oscillating bluff body”. During his research, he worked on reduced order modeling of lift coefficient (lift force) using parametrically forced van der Pol oscillator equation. He has garnered experience in the numerical and mathematical modeling and willing to delve deeper into these domains.

Sumit has experience of working at multidisciplinary research centre-Raychem Innovation Centre, India (Raychem RPG Ltd.), with diverse people from different regions, culture and expertise and could gel with people fast and quickly aligned with organization’s structure. Mr. Sumit has also worked on product design and development projects with experience in TRIZ (theory of the resolution of invention-related tasks) methodology and filed a design patent (Anti-Fouling Device).

Numerical Modeling and Simulation, Product Design, looking forward to delve deeper into CFD and its applications.
