The ALLSTAR project was created to provide lifelong
learning materials in the field of Aeronautics and Aviation. We have attempted to reach
the broadest possible group of Internet users: from 4th graders to Junior College
students, from students to teachers of history, science and career counseling.
We have attempted not to exclude
anyone and we hope that the user with the simplest PC will enjoy our site. Though we have
included animations, video and audio clips, we have also included still photos and figures
for those who do not have video/audio/animation capabilities.
Our site provides the teacher and
student with materials that may be used in history or social studies related classes, in
science and engineering related subjects as well as for career counseling. We also have
some discussion forums on aeronautics related topics. Our site is by no means exhaustive;
however, we hope that it will spark your interest in aeronautics and will get you to do
more reading on the subjects of your interest at your local library.
Our task is to encourage more young
people to pursue aeronautics- and aviation-related areas as possible career opportunities.
More detailed objectives and the expected outcome for this project may be found by
clicking on Objectives and Effects.
Surf our site and let us hear from you. We take constructive criticism seriously. We hope
you enjoy our site.
Happy surfing!
