Srinivasa Rao Bakshi

  Resume

Bakshi is doing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Arvind Agarwal from September 2005. The topic of his PhD research is Dispersion Behavior of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes in Aluminum Nanocomposite Fabricated By Plasma and Cold Spraying. He worked from September 2003 to September 2005 in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India as Scientific Officer ā€˜C’ in determination of thermo-physical properties of advanced control rod materials. Before that he completed Master of Engineering (ME) in Metallurgy from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India in January 2003. His ME thesis was on Crystallization Kinetics of Fe-Co Based Metallic Glasses. He pursued Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Metallurgical engineering from Regional Engineering College (REC), now National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. He passed in First Class with Honors with 78.4% marks in May 2001.
