Wallied

Wallied holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Cairo University (1996); M.Sc. in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo (2004); and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010). He has over 14 years of professional experience in both academia and the construction industry. His main research interests focus on developing planning and optimization models to support construction decision-making in the areas of: resilient and sustainable civil infrastructure systems; and sustainable building construction. Wallied has authored several articles that were all published in leading ASCE journals and has presented at major conferences. His research contributions have been recognized nationally and internationally, receiving several awards including the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management Best Paper of 2009 Award.
