Since the mission of NASA and the Goddard Space Center are so closely related and inseparable from the WaterSCAPES University Research Center, we are capable of sponsoring a select and limited group of FIU students and interested High School teachers to participate in a summer internship at the Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt, Maryland; just a few miles north of Washington DC.

The next class of interns will be selected during the Spring Term.  If interested in this great opportunity, please don’t hesitate to contact us as soon as possible.

If selected, you will receive transportation needed to reach the Goddard Space Center, housing throughout the duration of the internship and a stipend to cover some other expenses throughout your stay.  The internship itself lasts from 8 to 10 weeks during the Summer of 2011.  U.S. Citizenship is required for these intern positions.

If interested, please email your current CV or resume as soon as possible as an attachment.  From this pool, we will then begin the interview and selection process.  If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
