My main research objective focuses on enhancing hurricane performance of new structures as well as devicing novel ways of retrofitting existing structures. Working towards better understanding of complex Hurricane/Structure interactions to come up with practical hurricane damage mitigation solutions through a combination of expermiental, wall of wind (full-scale) and boundary layer wind tunnel (model-scale), as well as computational researches.
