is a hardware laboratory that is remotely accessible from the web. Therefore,
students can conduct the experiments from any location and they do not need
to be physically present in the lab. Each student will conduct one
experiment/week and submit a lab report by e-mail.

Georgakopoulos was responsible for design and development of:

Novel passive and active RF/microwave components, such as,
interconnects, power dividers, phase shifters, mixers, and vector
modulators
·
High performance and reliability components for interfaces,
such as, SMA, type-N, TNC, 7 mm, 3.5 mm, 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm and 1.85 mm
·
Thin-film high frequency circuits operating up to 70 GHz
·
Precision calibration standards
·
High power microwave components
·
High-reliability surface-mount chips for airborne and space
applications
·
Complex microwave test fixtures for measuring various
components, such as, surface mount chips, and leaded devices
