      A senior management position to oversee the operations and development of new products.

      Products include Virtual Reality (VR) 3D-animated digital contents in application to cartoons in theaters, as well as system integration of DLP and LCD type of industrial projectors.
       

    • Western Digital Corporation, Sr. Principal Engineer, 2000-2002

      A lead project management position for the development of hard disks across servo/controller firmware, ASIC/PCB hardware, and design verification/test groups.

      Tasks include the architect of ST-10 based controller firmware under embedded controller Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), (a version of VxWorks) environment, generation of test patterns, development of error recovery algorithm, and ECC error correction schemes in order to achieve better production yield in hard disk manufacturing.
       

    • Musica Technologies Co Ltd, Co-founder/General Manager, 1999-2000

      A business partner and lead developer to launch CD-based MP3 players using Intel 8051 microprocessor-based architecture and SONY laser servo lens pickup modules
       

    • Emulex Corporation Principal Engineer, 1998-1999

      An engineering position to develop RISC StrongARM-based embedded controller firmware for fibre channel communications.

      Responsibilities include the implementation and enhancement of Loop Initialization Protocol (LIP) as well as to maintain fibre channel protocol integrity during and after system integration.
       

    • Adaptec Inc, Senior Software Engineer, 1993-1998

      A software engineering position to design and develop a series of Adaptec products

      Projects include the implementation of device drivers for various SCSI host adapters, RAID, ATAPI/IDE and CD-ROM drives under different operating systems platforms (MS-DOS, Window 95/98/NT, Novell, AIX Unix).

      Responsibilities also include the development of application software, including RAID configuration manager, ASIC chip-level diagnostic and quality assurance software
       

    • Toshiba America Info System Inc, Senior Design Engineer, 1988-1992

      A hardware circuitry and ASIC design engineer to develop Toshiba laptop and notebook computers and laser printers.

      Projects include the development of SCSI plug-and-play converter, multiple printer switching box, laser printer controller board and ASIC chip, specifically tailored for Toshiba foundries for Postscript and HPGL application
