Welcome to Multiphase Thermal Engineering (MPTE) Research Laboratory at Florida International University.  The lab has facilities for both computational and experimental projects. The main focus of the Lab is the application of first-principles based theories to the analysis of thermal fluid phenomena in multiphase systems, including microscale systems.  Through a history of funding with grants and contracts from a number of federal agencies and industries, the Lab not only conducts novel research but also provides educational opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students.
